Just like paperbark, we all have layers. Our experiences shape our story, but they’re only one part of who we are. Come as you are, bring all of you. There’s room here to just be human.

Welcome to Paperbark Grove Collective

Hello, I'm Michelle (she/her).
I am so glad you are here!

Paperbark Grove is inspired by the paperbark tree, with its protective layers and ability to endure, adapt and regenerate. Like the tree, we’re shaped by the experiences we carry. Healing isn’t about stripping those layers away, but understanding our stories with compassion and making space for growth.

I believe that feeling safe, understood, and connected is an important part of meaningful change. I offer an affirming, warm, trauma-responsive space where children, teens, and young adults can feel safe, understood and supported to explore their experiences and express themselves.

I recognise that our experiences are shaped by more than what happens within us. Our relationships, identities, communities and the systems we live within all play a part. I’m committed to creating an inclusive and respectful space where all parts of your identity are welcomed and where we can work together with curiosity, compassion, and respect.

Whether we’re working through difficult experiences, finding new ways to cope, or using creativity and play when words aren’t quite enough, therapy is collaborative and shaped around you.

Alongside therapy, I offer clinical supervision and creative workshops focused on reflection, connection, creativity and wellbeing.

Wherever you’re at, you’re welcome here.
